Screen
Both phones adopt LCD punch-hole screen, 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh, and side fingerprints.
The Redmi K30 is a 6.67-inch 20:9 screen, and the Realme X50 screen is 6.57-inch 20:9.
The only difference is that the Redmi K30 adopts dual selfie cameras of punch holes on the right. While it’s in the upper left corner on the Realme X50 and its punch holes are slightly larger than that of Redmi K30.
Camera
The Redmi K30 uses a vertical row of four shots in the middle and top, with a circular polishing lens in a week, which netizens jokingly call “coin holes”.
The Realme X50 uses four vertical shots in the upper left corner, which is well-behaved as a whole.
The four shots of Redmi K30 are 64 million main photo + 8 million superluminous angle + 2 million macro + 2 million depth of field, front 20 million main photo + 2 million portrait virtual.
Realme X50 6400 megapixel main camera + 8 million ultra wide angle + 12 million telephoto + 2 million macro, front 16 million wide angle + 8 million wide angle dual camera.
The Redmi K30 uses Sony IMX686 64 million main photo, the resolution is stronger than the 64 million main photo of Realme X50 Samsung GW1. But the Realme X50 has a 16 million-pixel telephoto lens that can achieve 20x mixed zoom, which is stronger than the virtual portrait of the Redmi K30.
Especially in the front photo Realme X50 uses two wide-angle lenses, the photo range is much larger than the Redmi K30. No matter the front or rear Redmi K30 gives Lao Sun a feeling, there is no need to add some shots at all.
Battery life
In terms of battery life, the gap between the two phones has been widened: the Realme X50 has a 4200 Ma battery + VOOC4.0 enhanced 30W flash charge, charging 75 in 30 minutes and 55% from 0100 in 55 minutes.
The Redmi K30 has a 4500 Ma battery + 30W fast charge, which can also be recharged from 0100 in 60 minutes.
On the surface, the battery of the Redmi K30 is larger than that of the Realme X50, but some netizens have actually tested it and found that the battery life of the two is just the opposite.
The Realme X50 ranked third in the three-hour heavy range test, well above the Redmi K30, which ranked out of the top 10. This may be the reason for the system training, Redmi K30 later upgrade firmware may be able to improve.
Performance and 5G
Needless to say about performance, both phones use Snapdragon 765G processors, so there is no difference in actual experience, the only difference is the 5G band of the two phones.
The Redmi K30 supports only two 5G bands while the Realme X50 supports four 5G bands.
You may not feel the difference every day, because the two bands of Redmi K30 are enough to use. However, in some remote areas or extreme cases, four frequency bands are more secure.
Conclusion
The configurations of the two phones are basically the same, but there are some slight differences. But the Realme X50 is more sincere in terms of photo shoot, battery life and 5G band.
In terms of price, the gap between the two phones is more obvious. The smallest version of the Realme X50 is the 8+128GB version, with a price of 2499 yuan.
The same version of Redmi K30 costs 2599 yuan, which is 100 yuan higher than the Realme X50.
But the Redmi K30 has a 6+64GB version that costs only 1999 yuan, which is the lowest price of a 5G phone at present, but it’s hard to say whether it can be bought.
